He doesn't just put desires on your heart for no reason at all. When you consult Him about guiding your path I find the things that have been layed on my heart are things God has put there. He has blessed me beyond measure with my life. He gave me the desire of working at Rainy Pass Lodge and blessed me with three amazing summers there so far and a desire to continue my work there. He just blessed me with a dream of opening and owning my very own coffee shop, MY VERY OWN, CRAZY! I just can't thank Him enough.
Now back to me owning The Coffee Corner. I am reminded daily to put my trust in God. I believe that God has let me open this Coffee Shop for a reason and that He will provide for me. I am not the biggest fan of knowing the finacil side of owning a business. When I am at work everyday I think of how I need to be selling more so that I can make my bills on time. It is a scary thought thinking that I won't have the money to keep things open, but I have to daily remember that God will provide and it might not be the biggest profit at first, but I trust He will provide what is needed to stay open. I love making coffee for people and serving them. It brings great joy to my heart when I hear that my coffee is wonderful, or I make the best cup in town. I get to be my own boss, that is pretty neat to think about. As I have said, God has blessed me and I pray that I can trust Him, daily with providing what is needed.
I have had a crazy amount of love and support from family and friends who have come to buy coffee. They are very excited for me and can't wait to see The Coffee Corner take off!

I am supporting Guiding Influence, a Non-Profit in Alaska raising money to send youth to Rainy Pass Lodge, where they learn to be Makers, not Takers.
I also bake my own goodies with the help of a lovely friend.
